Overview

A well-known source of high-level corruption and characterized by low efficiency and a high degree of monopolization, Ukraine’s energy sector needs radical reform to meet European standards. The new government has pledged to decrease dependence on Russian gas, increase transparency and align Ukraine’s gas market with the EU’s Third Energy Package.

This event will analyse the progress of Ukraine’s energy reform and discuss key impediments to change.

This event will be held on the record. Attendance is by invitation only.

25 Nov 2015 – 16:30 to 18:00
